Things to do
Budapest is a city where you will never get bored: you can go caving, taste Hungarian wine, swim in the Széchenyi Baths, slink around the Labyrinth of Buda Castle, or lookout from the Fisherman’s Bastion. In the city centre you will also find many bars, restaurants and shops. In June, there is the Summer festival and the Czech Beer Festival. During the autumn semester you have the Septemberfest and Christmas market.
Student neighbourhoods
"The 8th district of Budapest is the famous student neighbourhood because it's located between the university campuses. Kálvin tér is a large triangular place located in the Józsefváros student area. We advise living close to the Danube, where you will be in the city centre and really close to nightlife, and with that we mean vibrant student life. You can find a good option in Budapest for 400€ monthly."
